You must have the key to the lock for this procedure!
Remove the lock assembly from the vehicle.
Look at the inside top of the plastic where the lock cylinder fits. There is a spring loaded
lock cylinder showing. Push that down and then install the key.
Turn the key and the lock assembly will come out.
{xtypo_info}TIP: The lock/latch sets in the rear storage wells are the same as the glove box. The one in the rear pass through is not and would require modifications to work elsewhere. I didn't need the well latches and have used them on the front when needed.
Also, if the latch breaks and you can't get the glove box open, you can use a tiny screw driver or awl to release the latch by fiddling around behind the finger pull to release the spring loaded catch. You do need the key to unlock it though.
