You have one of the earlier ones. Does yours have the dark horn button?

 

Here is a pic of my 88's horn button.  Looks to be dark but I have nothing to compare it to.

Ronnie - the center of my horn button is black with a silver R.

Test 1:  26 pumps for both to come on.

Test 2:  21 pumps until the pedal suddenly became very hard.

You have the early '88 model horn button. Here is how the latter '88 & 89 buttons look. I use a photo of one for my avatar.

They are probably the best source for accumulators we have right now. I  hope they continue to keep stocking them. Did you have to wait long to get it shipped to you?

I just ran a test again on the Black. I will be storing it today.

The counts are;

Key on

Red Light Off 35 seconds

Pump off 50 seconds

Pumps until motor on 8

Pumps until light on 16

Key off

Pumps until brake gets hard 15

I will try the 'vert as today she comes out...

That's great that you can get 8 pumps before the pump starts. I just wonder what is different between you master cylinder and mine. I know the black is in storage now but it would be interesting to see the results of the test if you had swapped the pressure switch with another one.
