There is what is called a "Blower Control module" and it is located on top of the fire wall under the hood. It is located just above the Blower. It is held in place with 3 each 7mm screws.1 point

You should check the wire splices under the seats while you have the carpet out. If you have water in there the splices can cause lots of problems. Wire Splice Repair1 point
