  1. Yeah, I'm wishing now that I had kept those wheels. I polished on those things until they looked like chrome.

  2. Spent some time this weekend with my friend Gary who has owned Mustangs all his life. He drives them and races them. He has convinced me that my next "weekend car" should be a '99-'04 Mustang,. They are reasonably priced and super easy to get new, used, or aftermarket parts for. They are simple cars compared to a Reatta, both mechanically and electrically. Gary knows Mustangs like the back of his hand and he's willing to help me work on one if that's what I get. That means a lot since Gary has a lift in his garage and a barn full of Mustang parts. 🙂 I've never been a Ford man but now I've got my eye pealed for something like this to replace my Reatta.

  3. You had ‘Stang wheels on your Reatta once before, so you dipped your toe in that water previously 😎

  4. This isn't Reatta specific, but it may be a useful addition just to have handy when needed. The short backstory is I was looking for a way to connect my satellite radio subscription to my older cars I use in the winter. As it turns out a reasonably priced radio channel transmitter works flawlessly in several vehicles when blue toothed to my phone via the Sirius app. Maybe old news, but then again, I am old too. It simply plugs into the 12v lighter type socket and has a small display screen as well as a USB A connection. Once paired, it connects to my phone immediately when powered up. It doesn't create satellite radio, it is all per cell coverage, but it works surprisingly well and can be moved from vehicle to vehicle with no setup or physical changes. I found it handy travelling with a friend that has a large collection of music on his phone too. This is the one I have but there are many choices available. 6. I dove deep enough to think maybe I had ruined the whole unit! Never did find a release or catch or other way to return the cassette tray to the eject position. I tried turning the unbelted wheel with my finger, no results. Probably need to turn whatever little wheel that one was driving, but couldn't see it or reach it even with the circuit boards moved out of the way. I'm afraid that if I get it any farther apart, something will go "Sprong!" and it will never go back together again. Managed to get it all put back together, just one screw left over 🤪
