Based on their description, they seem to accomplish the same result as the example harness you provided, Ronnie. It's totally a shot in the dark, though. We'll see once they arrive and I get them installed. I will report back.

It will be interesting to see what those boxes do. There are two types of headlight activation schemes, one is switched positive, which the Reatta uses, the other is switched ground, sort of the way our injectors work. I do not know if the 91 may use a different scheme than earlier years. There are certainly many little things that are different.

Problem solved. I just needed to move the parking brake lever out of the way using vise grips on the lever to pull it back and out of the way so I could access and remove the upper caliper mounting bolt. I lifted the caliper up and out of the way so I could install the Centric kit clips onto the caliper mounting bracket. Success! No more rear brake rattle. This was especially noticeable with the top down on my 1990 convertible. With the top up and windows closed, the rattle was not noticeable. But top down...UGH, that rattle was super annoying! If your Reatta has an annoying rattle coming from the rear, chances are it's the replacement brake pads rattling. The Centric kit comes with other parts I didn't need, however I replaced the upper and lower rubber boots on the caliper bracket as well since they were exposed and easy to change. The upper and lower clips are easy to insert. Centric PN 117.62026 available from several vendors including Summit Racing. I paid $17 from CARID

How did you decide on those boxes that you ordered? Maybe a better option for your '91 model? The price is certainly reasonable compared to a harness with relays. The description for them is confusing to me.

Common problem with LED's which is being solved by a voltage booster harness for high power or brighter conventional headlights. The headlight door must see ground when the lights are turned off or the door won't close. Designed to let you know a light is burned out and encourage you to repair it. LED's are diodes which prevent a ground path much like a check valve does for water. The booster harness has enough of a ground path through the activation side of the relays to allow the voltage to bleed off and the doors will close. The harness is plug and play so it is convenient rather than adding a path to ground some other way or cutting and grounding the offending wire in the door module harness.

I have never done anything with the parking brake cable except release it from the caliper actuator. The rear brake piston must be screwed in to retract the piston if installing new pads but that's about it. When the parking brake is released in the cab the actuator arm at the caliper should be back against the stop.
