  1. I don't recognize what you are showing in the photos. Maybe something unique to a '90-'91 model? However, I do see a bad vacuum hose connected to the fuel pressure regulator. (Blue arrow in photo below) That tells me more vacuum lines may be rotten and need replacing.

  2. I found this nce chart in the Parts book and thought it may save someone many hours of trying to find the information.

  3. I replaced the plugs and coil packs this morning in my 91 Coupe. My what a difference it made. This car was a bit sluggish compared to my 91 Convertible, I just thought is was due to the extra miles on the car,. The plugs that I removed were gapped at a minimum of 0.080" and I had a bit of a problem getting the wires off. I cleaned the ignition board with DEOXIT. All in, I was done in a couple of hours. I am waiting for the new plug wires to show up today, and if it isn't raining or too hot, I will change them out today.

  4. Been having problems with my cruise not working consistently so thinking it was the servo swapped it out, That wasn't it. Checked the vacuum, that wasn't it either [although I put an elbow on the big vacuum hose at it broke while I was trying to pull it off the servo]. So I ordered new brake and cruise switch from Rock Auto and they are to arrive next week. But I did try what another guy on the forum did. I grabbed the brake pedal just above the brake pad and pushed and pulled it several times and then went for a ride. The cruise locks in every time and accelerates when I use the slide switch. Never thought reefing on it would make something work, but why not? Maye it just had to reseat itself.

  5. The plug wires got here today and I replaced them. This car with 78,000 miles drives great and accelerates faster than this old man needs to be accelerating. It was a fantastic day for me.

  6. Your looks a little different from what I thought but it's probably also a check valve. Glad you got it working.

  7. Thanks Ronnie. I have it fixed. I will try and find the part in the parts book and get a new one. But in the meantime I fixed this one and the AC is working properly.

  8. Ok, now I think I know what it is. I didn't recognize it the way you were holding it. It's a Tee but it's also a check valve so don't replace it with just a plain Tee fitting. Glad you found the problem.

  9. When the A/C programmer loses vacuum the default setting for the airflow is air coming out of the defrost vents. Might a bad vacuum line? They tend to rot near the cruise control servo. Did the cruise stop working to? Here are some places to check:

  10. New oil pressure sender under way... Don't doubt the car will over heat in traffic, but I was going 65 and the gauge just kept climbing.😬 I'll have to check the thermostat when I change coolant. I haven't changed the oil or coolant because the kid and his dad, I bought the car off of, had changed them both while they were trying to get the car started. Oil isn't dark at all on the dipstick. I'm going to change it anyways again, but I don't think the 6 mile drive I did with the car hurt anything. Coolant looks very nice, bright green, and the inside of the radiator is very clean, too. Changing it also, for peace of mind.😎👍 Thanks for the help. -derdachshund
