  1. I've replaced the oil pressure sender 4 times in the ten years I've owned my '91. They just tend to be junk.... oil pressure is usually just fine. You mentioned that you have yet to change the coolant and oil. Therefore, the temp raise was bound to happen. Also, put in a new thermostat and new hoses, top and bottom. The std thermostat is a 195*, but you could experiment with a lower at 180*.

  2. Been having problems with my cruise not working consistently so thinking it was the servo swapped it out, That wasn't it. Checked the vacuum, that wasn't it either [although I put an elbow on the big vacuum hose at it broke while I was trying to pull it off the servo]. So I ordered new brake and cruise switch from Rock Auto and they are to arrive next week. But I did try what another guy on the forum did. I grabbed the brake pedal just above the brake pad and pushed and pulled it several times and then went for a ride. The cruise locks in every time and accelerates when I use the slide switch. Never thought reefing on it would make something work, but why not? Maye it just had to reseat itself.

  3. Here is an interesting read from Hagerty. https://www.hagerty.com/media/market-trends/valuation/8-lost-classics-of-the-80s-all-under-18000/?utm_source=SFMC&utm_medium=email&utm_content=MED_UN_NA_EML_UN_WeekendRoadTrip&hashed_email=d92700a7ccda63622ba2ec1969030e9b6097dd47a1a58890d40e6e863a8e4616

  4. Posting here for future knowledge: the issue was in fact the harmonic balancer. My Handiman said the old one looked like it had been “beat on with a hammer.” replacing the balancer did fix the issue. I guess the moral of the story, is if you have a weird engine vibration you can't track down, it might be the balancer. Even if you don’t have the usual sound that occurs with a bad balancer.
