I bit the bullet Monday and bought a 91. It was picked up today in Maryland. Delivery is scheduled for Friday. My question concerns the Tech 1 Diagnostic Computer. Are they useful? What is an alternate, Snap-On? I received the tech manual today and have made it to the driveability and emissions section. I will have many questions in the future. Jim1 point

Top Down has the preparation steps down perfectly. Once the prep work is done just top coat with Spar varnish using a foam brush.1 point

I've taken them apart and cleaned the contacts. They are very simple inside.1 point

Look for a "vinyl Doctor" and have them look at it. I never use the door arm rest as it's too hard to get another door. I have learned to lean on the console...1 point

Dave I did the vert in April of 2016 and still has some shine but should probably be recoated. Not bad for 7 years. If you want to find the series of posts "over there" just go into the "Search" enter "Spar" in the search bar with "DAVES89" as the author and you'll find it.1 point
