  1. On the outside bolster of the driver's seat, I inherited a quarter size scuff from the previous owner. After contacting Pacific Custom Interiors, I was introduced to a off site individual who specializes in repairing leather seats. His tool kit consisted of various dyes so he went to work on my car. In 30 minutes, the job was finished with excellent results. Color match was perfect............he also recommended cleaning the soiled backside of my gray steering wheel with glass cleaner. I gave it a try and the results were amazing. With minimal rubbing the dirt/grime was removed and the surface not affected in any way.

  2. Armrest on the door or the console cover? If it's the door good luck. Console cover the back of a Reatta seat is vinyl just like the console cover is. Cut the back off a junked Reatta and you have a perfect match. The bolster can be replaced by using the front half of a Reatta headrest. The headrest front is leather and very supple due to all the grease from hair.

  4. The broadcast number in the ROJ guides courtesy of MC_Reatta shows 8074 to be the California spec for 1990 Reatta. Confirmed by the chart above,

  5. Is the ALDL cover by the steering column that says "do not remove" in place ? It completes the LAN loop. Someone seriously into pre-95 GM computer cars needs an ALDL scan tool. The OTC 2000 is often on eBay. Just make sure to get a late enough GM, all-in-one, or Pathfinder (think III was latest) cartridge and GM cable. ATYJ is a 90 LN3 but for what car line I do not know. ps the ECM will run just fine laying on the passenger footwell.

  6. No ECM data is lack of communication between the chip and the ECM. It may take a little bit to straighten itself out after a chip or ECM change as it is self learning to a certain extent. No e codes sounds normal. The ECM does not self diagnose.
