  1. This is were an ignition scope is nice but if ECM dies, there is a backup system. What PROM did you put in the new ECM ?

  2. Selling my 1989 Buick Reatta. I fell in love with this car when I purchased it two years ago, and if I could afford to have two cars, I would not be selling it now. I am a musician and realized I needed a larger car to carry all my equipment. My car is located in Acworth, GA. a suburb of Atlanta. I am the 3rd owner and have all the maintenance records since I purchased my Reatta from another private owner here in metro Atlanta. Below is a list of the repairs that have been performed by Kam's Auto Repair in Acworth, GA. There is no significant rust. My car has been garaged. 2021 – new tires, brake lines replaced, new A/C compressor, new front-end suspension 2022 – new rotors and brake pads on the front end Routine maintenance performed My car has 90,950 miles and is in very good condition. I am asking $8000.00 but am negotiable. I am including photos. Please call me if you're interested. 770/608-1227.

  3. I just did the cam and crank sensors... and the harmonic balancer... no change. I will be swapping out the ICM as well. It just this new issue after replacing the ECM thats got me stuck. @2seater gonna switch with old ECM again... its just that I reinstalled it after it started up fine. Instrument cluster has had no obvious issues. @Padgett I put the PROM from the one I pulled in the new one.

  4. After the go around I had with chips and ECM last fall, I don't install the ECM until it has run and proven to be good, long term.

  5. I would bet the instrument cluster has stuff not working either. If you have no ECM data the chip is not communicating properly. R&R the Prom and see if it is a fluke otherwise, try the old ECM again and see if that goes away.

  6. If so, considering all the other work you have done, why wouldn't you just go ahead and change the ICM? I would change the ICM and the Crankshaft Position Sensor to.
