  1. What we need is a billionaire with a Reatta or Allante (same rear shock) to buy 51% of Monroe...

  2. I had appointments in Northern Wisconsin so the Black and I took a drive. Put on about 380 miles. Scenery was beautiful but because I have ECM issues [code e042] I got less then 22 mpg. No appointments tomorrow so I am going to swap a different one in. Also am tired of the [too loud for me] aftermarket exhaust that the PO put on so will swap in an exhaust I cut off a Reatta I parted out.

  3. I think I would stay with the saddle top but I would spend the extra money to get a cloth top. I think the cloth looks a lot better. I don't think black is a good color for a Reatta convertible top. It's just not classy enough for a Reatta.

  4. Thanks for the information about differences between the '88 chip and the '89 chip. I've updated my list of differences between '88 models and the later models.

  5. That seems like a valid question. The weight distribution seems to be about 65%F/35%R Edit: I think the unsprung weight difference is not that great. Same wheel and tire package, minus lighter brake assembly in the rear, plus axle and heavier steering knuckle up front, and I think that influences the damping rate.

  6. There is no inertia switch. When you turn the key to the RUN position the pump only runs a few seconds to prime the system and then cuts off until the engine starts. To test the plug at the tank to make sure it is getting power, use a jumper wire to connect 12 volts from the battery to the green prime/test connector under the hood. As long as there is 12 volts connected to the green connector there should be 12 volts at the tank.
