  1. Do what Jim Finn told me when he delivers a windshield. He tapes it to his existing windshield and drives to the clients house.

  2. I just read an article In my Hagerty insurance magazine that says the best place to store spare parts for your car is in a parts car. That way when you need a spare part it will be exactly where you expect it to be. 🙂

  3. I will ask her. Honestly I really didn't care, as electric shavers shouldn't have wheels, and electric motors should remain powering thing like air compressors and kitchen appliances as far as I am concerned. Basically EVs interest me about as much as having a lobotomy performed upon myself does.

  4. Haha, you should tell your mechanic about that! Glad you found the problem!

  5. I would swap out the turn/hazard module with another one. While you have the connector off the module, you should check for continuity in the light blue wire (highlighted in red in my photo) that runs between the module connector and pin 4 on park/turn relay E . When the left turn signal is on, that light blue wire should have 12 volts pulsing on and off to make the turn signal light flash. I don't think swapping the chime module above the glovebox would make any difference but who knows.

  6. Wow. Curious about the make and model of the car involved, and whether the $20K battery, along with other damage, caused the EV to be totaled, and if so, how was the salvage dealt with? Perhaps you can obtain more info from your step mother and share the details. When I was in the insurance claims industry, never had an EV to deal with - not even a fender bender.

  7. That’s kind of why people encourage Reatta owners to buy a parts car when they can. But there are plenty of good windshields available. Not abundant but they can be found. Have you contacted Jim Finn or Marck Barker?

  8. I used this broker in May to bring my "new" Reatta from Ohio to NY. He came recommended, and very reasonably priced. True to the recommendation and cost. I was very happy. His name is C-A (just goes by the letters) Freeman. 1 405-708-1373. Good luck. Steve

  9. I just use some mini convex mirrors in the bottom/inside of the driver's side mirror.

  10. So I've recently come across Robert's shelfence invention well at least mentioned in a couple forums. Question is, what does it even look like. I emailed him a couple days ago, didn't want to call and bug him. Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of it. Seems interesting.
