One of the only Reatta in France

I inserted the card stock from the top but crawled under to tighten down the bolt. I removed the balancer twice [for a reason I will never share, stupid serpentine belt] and I was lucky the keyway was right at 12 o clock. I thought I heard a "snap" as I tightened down the bolt tightening the clamp and thought sure I broke either the clamp or the edges of the sensor that slides on the clamp. But both the sensor was in tight and the clamp was solid so don't know what I heard. And 200 plus miles and all is good so we'll see.

Got home about an hour ago. About 200 miles and numerous key starts and never a hiccup. Think I got it!

Since where I travel most often is 150 miles away, I have had AAA Premier for years. $121/year 200 miles tow and covers any car I am in.

Ronnie, extremely informative. Many thanks for creating this "How-To". PS: I had my '91 Reatta sensor replaced 7 years ago but have only put on less than 6K miles since the replacement...so far so good (hope I'm not jinxing myself!).

I added more to the how-to guide to explain how I used a business card to adjust the clearance on the sensor. Adding the additional information may have been too much information. Let me know what you think. I think it took me more time to write the tutorial than it took me to change the CPS. 🙂

I know for some people here that refuse to use Rock Auto, I placed an order with them last night to replenish my back stock inventory of Reatta parts. I ordered another Harmonic Balancer, 2 each Crank Sensors, Spark Plugs, Lower Radiator Hose, Outer Tie Rod, and another Ball Joint. I also contacted 2seater and ordered a part for him as well. I'm actually thinking about ordering a Rack and Pinion and other parts as I have a fear of more parts being discontinued. As everyone knows I drive one Reatta or another every day so parts are very important to me.

Somebody in the Reatta Facebook group asked Marck if he was going to record it. He said he was but isn't sure yet how they are going to distribute it.
