  2. Nice Caddy Dave! I like black cars but they are really hard to keep clean here in TN with all the yellow pollen we have. The pollen will make a black car look dirty in just a few hours. I have a dark gray metallic Equinox that looks almost black. Even though it stays in the garage 90 percent of the time, and gets driven very little, I use a California Duster on it about every other day in the summer to remove the pollen.

  6. My advice is to get the car in drivable condition so you can drive the car to the location of the windshield you want installed. Then pay a professional installer to remove the windshield from the donor car and install it in your car. Most of the professional installers will come to your location. They will do the job right the first time and save you a lot of grief. It will cost you some money, but in my opinion this would be money well spent. There are many repairs you can do to your car yourself that will save you some money. This isn't one of them.
