Seems like a vacuum issue especially in regard to the blend doors. My ‘88 averages 21mpg city/24 highway and even that is a bit lower than I was expecting after hearing that the next gen series 2 3800’s can get 30 mpg.
No, No welding was done on or around the car. I found it difficult to understand how it could have happened. And only part of the ICM to go bad. Although I am glad that it happened in the garage where I had the parts to fix it and not on the road somewhere.
Dammit just replaced all that not even 2 years ago. Well I'll try to sort out the others issues first then move on too that, thanks again I'm planning on working on it Saturday when it warms up I'll keep ya posted.
