Not sure if anyone wants to see us picking up the Reatta and driving it home, but if you're curious it's now up on our YouTube channel: We have more than a couple problems with this old girl. Plus, I found out today that the last guy I bought this from hot glued a trim piece on the driver's side door, so now that's falling off. My goal is to get her into near show room condition possibly. But this poor girl has had quite a rough life.

Well, I went ahead and did it. Always wanted a Reatta convertible. Though, it had to be white with gray interior. Finally found one with low miles and after having the mechanic look it over I bought it. He told me that He didn't know about the availability of the 'special' Master-brake set up. Guess that's what this forum is for.

I talked to him yesterday. He is doing much better and so is his wife. He has weened himself off the oxygen and was able to walk down to his garage for the first time on Sunday morning. He says sleeping at night due to joint aches and muscle pains and no energy during the day is his biggest problems now.

Thought I would add to this never ending story of Robert bringing bad luck to everything he touches. Robert called me today and told me his F-150 pickup truck had caught fire and burned everything under the hood and part of the dash before the fire department put it out. He said it was a total loss and he had no insurance. He said he had the truck sitting in the driveway idling after adding some transmission fluid. He said he went to his garage to get more fluid without removing the funnel or putting the dipstick back in since it needed just a little more fluid to bring it up to the full mark. When he came back it was on fire. He thinks maybe the transmission burped some fluid out through the dipstick tube onto the hot exhaust manifold and caught the engine on fire while he was in the garage looking for more fluid. I don't know if that could happen or not. I just see it as another ripple on a sea of misfortune for Robert.
