  1. I'm thinking about getting a picture of my Reatta put on my debit card. It will cost 20 bucks. I already have a Reatta mouse pad, a Reatta screensaver on my computer and picture of my Reatta hanging on the wall in my garage. Is this Reatta obsession getting out of hand? My wife thinks so. πŸ™‚

  2. I am not sure, but I have a Reatta taillight that lights up when I turn on the light switch hanging from the ceiling in my basement shop/storage area.

  3. Sounds like a good idea to me. By the way, once you get it, I would be happy to road test it for you, but don’t forget the keys, err, pin #πŸ˜‰

  5. Ronnie, don't feel bad. I have a 1988 Reatta brochure propped up on the wall behind my desk at work. I love looking at that rear light bar and the Reatta logo at the top of the page. Love the idea.

  6. I ran this by a friend that owns a Shelby Cobra and a Triumph TR6. He said he thought it was cool and I should do it. He said it sure beat the photos of cats that his wife put on both of their credit cards. 🀣

  7. By doing so, it certainly will set you off from the rest of the crowd. I'd be inclined to follow your obsession, but I also agree with your wife and Padgett. However, an extra card for your wife might allay her hesitancy.

  8. I just watched a video on the Teves Braking system. It describes the components and how it works.

  9. If you get another pump try to keep as much of the old fluid in it as possible. It can be really hard to get the air out of the brake pumps if you drain all the fluid out. After you have another pump installed you should flush and bleed the brakes as described in one of the How-to guides here on ROJ to put new fluid in and get the old fluid out at the same time without introducing air into the system.

  10. The ABS is an anti skid mechanism. In the "old" days we used to pump the brakes to avoid skids. In normal driving you should see no difference in braking with the ABS working or not. As 2seater said two different systems in one Master Cylinder. And your idea to have an extra pump/motor is a great one. I have extra one in Texas and two here at home [1 Reatta in Texas, 2 in Wisconsin].

  11. Just be aware that brake boost and ABS are two different systems, plus, if you do not have the boost pump operating properly, you do not have any rear braking at all.

  12. I'm starting the video where the Reatta review really begins. If you start the video from the beginning it has comments about the Pontiac Fiero and the Cadillac Allante too.

  14. A good place to start would be to show potential buyers a photo of it.
