  1. I think you are just prolonging your misery. If it was just oozing fluid Bar's Leaks might be OK, but if it's squirting you are expecting a lot from Bar's Leaks if you think it's going to stop the leak for good. If the Bar's Leaks gives out on you somewhere away from home you might regret not fixing it right the first time.

  2. That frequently happens with these cars. Body parts are hard to come by compared to others cars and expensive to ship because of their size. Body shop labor has got so high sometimes it doesn't make sense to repair them.

  3. No problem! Even if it can't be saved whole, at least there are a lot of usable parts. I'm not seeing a lot of rust or anything so who knows why it ended up where it did. That damage on the LH side fender/door may have been enough for an insurance company to total it. Hopefully someone here can do something with it.

  4. I am not a Reatta owner or particularly interested in these cars, but I'm a car enthusiast in general and appreciate old/weird cars. I spend my free time roaming salvage yards and recently came across this Reatta. It is a new addition to this salvage yard and I couldn't help but think that this car is too nice to deserve what's coming to it. If anyone is interested in saving this car it's located in eastern WI. Daves89, I see you are in Menasha, WI. Do you know anything about this one?

  5. A great deal of the pricing is going to depend on the condition. It is over 30 years old, so price guides are all over the place, and I believe you have the right idea asking actual owners. That said, at that mileage, there are likely wear items that may need to be replaced if they haven't been recently. My own 1990 has been pretty much trouble free, but I fiddle with and modify so not a good source as a preservationist. Your own mechanical skill will determine how costly it may be to tidy the car. At first blush, the asking price seems high, but without knowing lots of details and examining the car, that isn't a fair assesment. Where is the car located and where has it spent its life?
