  1. Hi all, I have a problem maybe someone else has had. Took out the Reatta for a run , ran well, getting back home I could not shut the car off, the key was stuck in the on forward position, Now I have the Buick Reatta 1989 service manual, but have found the page that might address this problem, disconnected battery, when I turned key forward (maybe 1/4") it stalled. I hock the battery back up, and was able to start the car with that 1/4 turn! Then did the same thing as the first time to disengage. So any ideas will be helpful. Thank you.

  3. While we are waiting for Jon to post his book I'll post a few of photos that I took of pages in a photo album a member of our forum sent to me. His father was a GM engineer who worked on the development of the Buick Reatta. I'm very grateful that he sent the album to me as well as dozens of photos that his father took while the Reatta was being developed. This is a photo of of items that forum members have sent me. I don't have many but I'm happy to have them.

  4. I would guess that the rack is broke on the bottom of the steering column. I good friend of mine had all the tools. I did have to remove the column for him and as parts are rare, I went out to the local you pick and pulled a column out of another Reatta for him to use.
