Now that I think of it, my father-in-law bought a drill press for his wife saying "I will build things for her". I swear it is a true story. He was a craftsman in wooden items. He built furniture in his spare time and we used to buy Ethan Allen catalogs, way back when, and he would use them for inspiration. Mostly self taught, he could look at a picture and figure out how it was built.1 point
