He showed me the rack when I got there. It was broke in two parts. He salvaged what was good from the junk yard rack and had it in a bag for me to keep. He said there was no way the column would work as there was too much wrong with it. The directional module had a broken wire and of course there was no key. I did get the directional stalk and lead wire. That looked to be in great shape.2 points

After resetting the clock, radio/heat/A/c presets I took it for a drive to get gas. Everything worked as it should so I should be good for now.1 point

Just a small update. The instrument cluster failed on the red car the grandson has and it was installed from the donor right at the beginning. I bought a replacement from Dave a couple days ago and it was installed just a few minutes ago and we are back to full functioning again.1 point
