I believe RockAuto lists the correct brake light switch for a '91 Reatta. There are three brands listed but only one switch design. Welcome to the forum Dan. I have never heard of anyone using an OBDII scan tool with an adapter on a Reatta. Are you not able to access the Reatta's onboard diagnostic system. I find it to be much better than most scan tools.1 point

Good news for sure. Glad it was in good condition. You did the right thing by having it checked out by dropping the pan. That is really the best way to diagnose the condition of the transmission.1 point
