Gary D
It's time to repair a headlight. After reviewing the tutorial, I suspect that the rollers are shot. My question is...what is the recommended method for removing the bell-crank arm? I have removed the retaining nut, but the bell-crank arm won't budge from the shaft. Is a puller of some sort needed to remove this? Thanks (1990 Convertible)
Ronnie
The arm should come right off the shaft without a puller. Perhaps the hole in the arm is rounded out causing it to bind on the flat on the shaft
Gary D Posted December 2, 2017 Topic Author Share Posted December 2, 2017 Correct on both counts. Hole is somewhere between "good" and "shot". Alignment and a little more pulling power got the job done. Thank you.
