MOUSE
I have a (Red) brake warning light coming on, the same one that indicates the 'foot brake" is on. as soon as i apply pressure to the brake pedal it goes out. then about a min later comes back on while driving. brakes feel fine, good pedal, tried to engage the "ABS" and it worked fine also. I checked the pads earlier in the summer and they were about 55%. Any ideas? May need to go ahead and replace pads, they are original with 40k miles on them. DAVES89
I am sure you checked this but what is the brake fluid level at? If it is low it will trip the red indicator light.
MOUSE Posted October 10, 2017 Topic Author Share Posted October 10, 2017 I am sure you checked this but what is the brake fluid level at? If it is low it will trip the red indicator light. This issue started happening while picking up my Grand daughter from school, and i haven't had the chance to check it yet. that was going to be my first thing to do in the morning. thanks Dave, for the reply.
