Getting Ready for the Music City Reatta Rendezvous

I've been shining my Reatta and getting it ready for the first Music City Reatta Rendezvous.  :D   Dave (Daves89) and yours truly will be meeting Sunday in Nashville at the Parthenon in Centennial Park.   If any other Reatta owners in the Nashville area are interested in meeting up let me know.

And I'll be driving down from Wisconsin with the Red and look forward to meeting up again with Ronnie and his wife. We will be "eyeballing" each other's car [they look virtually identical] and comparing notes. I also have some parts for Ronnie.

Looking forward to it!

We had a great time in Nashville on Sunday. Here are a few pictures of the Reatta twins (almost). :) There are differences in our cars besides the obvious ones like his color matched trim.

One the things you can't see is the new paint that got rid of tiny nicks in the finish on the front like mine has. Dave's car has sixteen way seats on both sides where my car has the standard seats. He also has a sunroof. The wood-grain steering wheel in his car looks like one you would expect to see in a Rolls Royce. It is nice!

Dave has his car wired so he has can listen to his MP3 player through the tape player on the CRT. He has a sub-woofer in the trunk that sounds great. Much better than my stock sound system. He has also added additional electrical receptacles under the dash to charge his cell phone. All the little tweaks and upgrades Dave has made to his car have paid off. He has a really nice Reatta that's on par with modern cars.

Here are some photos you might enjoy from the Music City Reatta Rendezvous.biggrin.png  All of these photos were taken at Centennial Park in the  heart of Nashville. The statue of Athena is 42 feet tall.

You are too kind Ronnie. I have done some upgrades but your car being original is great. If my paint had ever looked like yours I never would have repainted mine.

At any rate I am now home. We left this morning at about 8:45 and got home at 8:00 pm. Long day in the car. Put on about 1600 miles [total] and never a hick up. Now up to about 7,000 miles on the swapped engine and tranny.

My headlight switch also would turn off the back lights when I switched to brights so I swapped it out with another I had brought along.

Glad you made it home safe. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Nashville. I got tired driving 2.5 hours over, resting a few hours in Nashville and then driving 2.5 hours back home. Dave you are the marathon man when it comes to time in the seat of a Reatta. :)
