Latch for trunk pass through door

I need to replace the broken latch on the pass through door going to the trunk.

It looks like the same latch that is on the glove box and the small storage compartments behind the seats. 

I found replacement latches on EBay (in any color required) but in the description, it specifically states that they cannot be used for the pass through door.

Any thoughts or ideas?

The glove boxcubby latches are different then the pass through latch. I use the key to open my pass through door. Would that not work for you?

BTW I do have an extra latch or two, but you may have to paint it. Let me know if you are interested.

Dave is right the Latch is mostly there for looks I think. The pass through latch is to be operated with a key only, 'IF YOU LIFT UP ON THE LITTLE HANDLE TOO HARD IT WILL BREAK OR CRACK' ask me how I know. The little handle is not functional, the key lock does all the work!

The handle on mine is broken, like it was pulled too hard and broke off. I do have the piece so since the door is operated by the key only, I'll consider perhaps gluing the piece on so it looks better.
