My emergency Brake does NOT work, will this make the yellowABS light come on?

Does the emergency brake [does NOT work] have anything to to with the Yellow ABS LIGHT staying on?

 

A mechanic told me ''NO'' =YELLOW ABS LIGHT is not related to a NON-WORKING emergency brake.

I agree with your mechanic. The parking brake will turn the RED warning light on.
