Window binding in Track

I have a 1990 convertible and the driver's side window binds in the track when being raised.  All help is appreciated.

There have been numerous posts on this, you may want to look at the search area for answers.

If there is a ratcheting noise as you close the window it's probably the motor.

 If it seems to move slowly up and down you can try lubricating it. However if you take the inner door off (please see the How to section on the top of the page for help) you will see a small bar that is removable. There is a roller on that bar that binds. You can remove that roller and clean it up with I think a 3/8 drill bit and put it back on. It doesn't have a bearing in it and gunk and age causes it to bind up
