1991 Radio

Fixed the antenna, the radio searches and finds stations but not audio out.  I do not have a cassette to try.  Checked two fuses, a 25Amp and a 15 Amp.  Both good.

Do I have a bad radio? or just bad power transistors and capacitors in the radio.?

I haven't been completely honest with you all.  I got a 1992 Riviera Saturday, the antenna did not work, I took the one out of the Blue convertible that I just got back from Barney Eaton, put it in the Riviera.  The radio seeks stations and locks on them, but there is not a peep or pop coming through the speakers.

The radio is the U1H option that I understand is identical to the Reatta radio.

Just a hunch, have you checked that the antenna cable is plugged in to the radio module? I think I had this same problem on my 89, but it was a long time ago.

I don't know much about the '91 models and zero about Rivs. Is it possible the Riv has the optional Bose radio system that have separate amps? If so that amp could be bad.
