It gives a perfect example of why you should never turn the key on or start the engine when you have the IAC valve out of the intake for cleaning or some other reason. It's something I will keep in mind the next time I clean my IAC. Also, you shouldn't screw the pintle in or out when cleaning it either to attempt to adjust the idle. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
