MarkN
Any bad stories about flushing a 30-year old cooling system to replace the coolant? Mine looks OK but dark, so would like new. Some concern about flushing resulting in a leaking heater core, for example.
ship
Factory suggested back in the day that Green Glycol in our 3800 engines be flushed every two years along with an additive tablet. I stay pretty faithful in doing this, and I've not had any problems with radiator or heater core.
Padgett
No. I generally use the new 5 year coolants.
