Welcome Bob. I owned a '88 Pontiac Fiero Formula before I got my Reatta.  Although I really liked my Fiero, I really enjoy the extra room and comfort of the Reatta. I think you will like your new Reatta.

Welcome from the Berkshire's of western Massachusetts. I just bought my first 1990 Reatta convertible last Saturday; June 19th. It's blue with a white top, just under 60,000 miles.  I've been checking out this forum for over a week now and I learned how to check for any diagnostic trouble codes. I found that it has an E041c; camshaft sensor, B552h and an R022h. The dealer is now repairing the E041 trouble before I take delivery. Incidentally, I just purchased my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT brand new and then the Reattas came out. I still have the Fiero GT. This is the first Buick that I have owned, but not my first convertible. Bob T.

Even GM says: 1) record codes 2) clear codes 3) see what comes back   It is only (C)urrent codes that need concern you.

I don't believe any of those codes would effect engine performance. I don't think the BCM will cause engine performance problems like you describe either. I'm thinking a fuel supply problem or a problem with the ignition system. I would do a complete fuel pump test and then replace the ICM (if you have a spare).

No the carpet is not wet. Is there another ground behind the pasanger seat? All the ones under the hood look brand new. I cleaned them all anyway but look brand new still. Im going to fix the splices hopefully Tuesday. I will let you guys know what I find in the process.
