Ronnie
I'm starting to see tiny hairline cracks in the top part of my steering wheel. I have to look close to see them but they are there. I use a good leather conditioner on the steering wheel regularly. What else could I do to prevent the cracks from getting worse?
DAVES89
Don't know what else you could do, but if you need a different [non stock] wheel let me know. I can get one for you.
Ronnie Posted November 15, 2016 Topic Author Share Posted November 15, 2016 Thank you for the offer Dave. I don't know if the cracks will get worse quickly or if the will get bigger fast. Right now no one would probably notice the cracks but me. I imagine it is a result of it being so dry here for the last two months. We are in a drought like I've never seen. We've had about 1/2" of rain in two months or more. Lots of forest fires in the surrounding area and the air is full of smoke. I think I'm going put a pan of water inside the car when it's sitting to provide some moisture in the air until we get some rain. What do you think about that? Think it would help?
