He suggested a complete pump assembly for me a couple of years ago and the accumulator has about 50% capacity from the testing I did years later. Not like new, but pretty good. 2seater Posted October 11, 2017 Share Posted October 11, 2017 The simplest basic test is to install it on the car let it pressurize and then pump the pedal as per normal brake application and see how many it takes before the pump starts. More detail can be gleaned with a pressure gauge but if you have the early '88 with the pressure hose as per the photo you posted earlier it would take a custom setup using a spare hose to make a gauge work.
