DAVES89 Posted October 11, 2017 Share Posted October 11, 2017 That pump is for the early 1988's only. If you want to take the ball off use an allen wrench mounted in a socket. Then use your impact wrench. If you don't have that go to a garage and ask them to do it for you. Unless you have a big vise to hold the pump/motor you will not get it off by yourself. My '88 serial # ends in 01062 You have a good match if your present pump has the hose on it as shown. From dissecting both types of pump, they are functionally identical except for the pressure hose vs the steel line on later models.
