There was something about the fit of the fenders to the doors, but I thought it had to do with a slightly different curvature? Apparently it is all a bolt on. Before I got smart about Gibson's I actually bought the Riviera woodgrain interior trim panels from him [imagine that!]. He broke his leg and sold off all the cars and left the AACA forum.
