calebsscarlet
I actually have two issues that I feel are related. When cold cranking the car, the engine begins to flood itself. It's always cranks eventually with a puff of white smoke and the smell of gas. Many times, the car will then idle at high rpms, almost like someone is pressing the gas and when I shift into drive it accelerates before I put my foot on the gas. It's does this often but not always. Sometimes, after driving for a bit and when shifted into park, it will idle at rpms between 1800 to 2300 rpms. Do I have a faulty throttle or IAC valve? DAVES89
I would clean the Idle Control Valve as well as the chamber it fits into.
2seater
Just for confirmation, check your TPS idle position voltage, ED01. It should be 0.38v - 0.42v
