hvramesq Posted May 27 Share Posted May 27 Hi all, bought an 88 last summer and finally getting around to getting it road worth. having issues with crt screen: 1. only have access to summary page 2. buttonsdo not work 3. crt thinks its jan 1, 1987. see pics. Can this be a unplug and replug issue. what is weird is that not one of the buttons works which makes be believe it is not a button issue. see imge Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Brock Posted May 27 Share Posted May 27 For mine it was a button issue. Ribbon cables and tactile switches. Tough to repair, not impossible. Contacts have to be cleaned. rogold Posted May 29 Share Posted May 29 The faceplate that screws on to the front of the CRT is the touch control portion. from the CRT back its just for the display.
