Gregoryb
I know there is stuff on here about adjusting wipers but my problem is the adjustment is correct but when my wipers go down the hit that black metal cover on the bottom edge of the windshield looks to be some high spots. the wipers will ho all the way to the stops with a little help is there any way to bend it down closer to the windshield? ship
Have you tried replacing the blades with new ones?
2seater
I am not exactly certain of what the problem is, but I have heard many concerns that some brands of wiper blade assemblies are too tall and bind on the edge of the hood.
Gregoryb Posted March 1, 2024 Topic Author Share Posted March 1, 2024 I got the right wipers it’s that metal bottom cowl that’s screwed on to the bottom of the windshield is kind of bent out in places I don’t want to break these expensive windshields
2seater
Yes, be careful. I have never had that piece off, so I don’t have any suggestions but I know I have issues with the screw heads not being flush and causing nicks in the blade😑 For the most part, I try not to use the wipers and apply regular coats of Rain X. It works for many situations but not all
