nash cova
Hello I am the owner of a 1989 Reatta , I bought this car about 2 mo. ago . As I was driving I tried to engage the cruise control and got a message -cruise control disengaged- I took it to the Buick dealer .They said the salvo was out .. I replaced it my self ,it worked after that but last week I pressed the engage button and nothing no light or message . All the fuses are ok ..Am I missing something ? I would appreciate any advice short of going back to the dealer . Thanks ..Nash
Frogware
Our cruise controls are Vacuum controlled so look for a leak or broken hose. Also fuses and if everything checks out you might have a bad blinker stick which as you know houses the CC switch. In rare instances I have seen them come disconnected inside the steering column. Ronnie
Welcome to the forum! Could you have accidentally turned the cruise control off? There is a button on the dash that turns it off on my '88 model.
