Guest
I ended up changing timing chain set this winter over a cam code , just wanted to share some pictures , and why I had to do it twice over coolant leak.
2seater
I never saw a front cover corrode like that. Intake manifold galvanic corrosion is not uncommon. What did you do to repair?
Guest
I removed bad material and used a epoxy product as a filler. It's been working for now, I've had good luck with the epoxy but if it fails I will replace.

I do the same to repair erosion👍
Padgett
Any more I just use GM approved long life anti-freeze and distilled (88c/gal at Walmart) water.
