fun car guy
Does anyone in the south/central Michigan area have one for sale? Thanks.
Padgett
Make sure the rubber surround is intact, it is one piece with the glass.
fun car guy Posted April 5, 2022 Topic Author Share Posted April 5, 2022 Thanks Padgett, Never having seen one out of the car I didn't think of that. Have found several nearby but nervous about transporting it. I won't need it until later this year anyway.
Ronnie
My advice is to get the car in drivable condition so you can drive the car to the location of the windshield you want installed. Then pay a professional installer to remove the windshield from the donor car and install it in your car. Most of the professional installers will come to your location. They will do the job right the first time and save you a lot of grief. It will cost you some money, but in my opinion this would be money well spent. There are many repairs you can do to your car yourself that will save you some money. This isn't one of them.
