Oh, showing my ignorance. I thought he was referring to the big Buick. What's it - an Electra?

Looks like there was a really good turn out.

15 Reattas altogether, which really turned some heads. My car was the only ‘88 and got a lot of attention as I had left the windows down so people could poke their heads in to marvel at the touchscreen setup.

This photos is a few years old. It might have been posted here before but I still like it. Me and a few of my buddies behind me were getting ready to drive the Tail of the Dragon, eleven miles of nothing but curves.

This photo was taken on the other end of the Dragon. Yeah, my Reatta looks a little out of place among all those Cobras but we had a great time driving through the mountains and around all those curves.

I drove the Dragon last year and checked it off of the car guy bucket list. It was an experience for sure… unfortunately my Reatta was in limp mode with the EO42 at the time so I flogged a rental BMW instead.

We think alike when it comes to taking photos. This photo was taken on a big bridge on the Foothills Parkway near Townsend, TN. That is the Smoky Mountains in the background.

Nice Skyhawk. There is one I see around where I live on occasion. I think the garage door headlights were an extra package you could get back in the day.

Thanks.

The one in the photo is a 1984 T-Type with the 1.8 L turbo (150 HP; borrowed from Pontiac).   It is pretty close to the one I bought new in ‘84 when I was in the service.

The hideaway headlights came out a few years later, around 86 or 87 I think.

I think the Skyhawk, like the Reatta and 85-90s Rivieras, are really under appreciated. I love the way they look. Also the two door Regals were cool cars that had a lot of design expression in their bodies.

Thats my language.
I love the T Type series of vehicles… even the ones that were just an appearance package.

There are one of those all black 87’s lurking around here too.

The Skyhawk was nice to see. My wife and I ordered her 1984 Skyhawk Limited with the 2.0L and a 4 speed stick. We waited about 3 months for the arrival since the "stick" wasn't a routine option for the Limited. Two tone paint, light brown upper (aka champagne) and dark brown lower was a pretty nice combo in the day. The Limited had a pretty plush interior. Had the car for 15 years and sold with about 50K miles on the odometer. Still miss that car.
