Posti
The power windows on my 1989 Reatta coupe do not work at all. The cigarette lighter socket is also dead. Is there a fuse that controls both of these? I don't have an owner's manual or shop manual yet - both have been ordered. Thanks for any help! Ronnie
It will be easier to troubleshoot the windows with the service manual. You could try replacing breaker #25 marked RAP/Horn/WDO that powers the windows but there are other things that could cause a problem as well, like relays and switches or possibly bad wire splices under the seats. Posti Posted November 19, 2016 Topic Author Share Posted November 19, 2016 As a follow-on, I discovered that the windows work fine - the switch is worn and you have to depress the buttons down further to make contact. I'll pick up another when I can and look at using the rebuilding process I've seen on this site on the worst of the two.
