karlsreatta Posted March 13, 2017 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Cluster quit without any warning on my 90 and the dummy lights still work, when I press thee/m and trip reset botton they light up as if night time as well as the panel light slide switch . kdirk Posted March 13, 2017 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Will reiterate Dave's post above. This is a common failure on 1990/91 clusters. The issue is the high voltage power supply within the cluster failing, in turn the vacuum fluorescent digital displays have no power to illuminate. It is repairable, and generally runs $200-250 to have one done by one of the numerous vendors who rebuild these. Since Dave has a good cluster on offer, that would be the faster, easier way to get back up and running as opposed to shipping yours out and waiting for the turn around time to repair it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
