Changing the headlight on the Reatta is a simple procedure.

Open the hood.

Unplug the connection on the back of the headlight before you raise the headlight

Remove four Torx-15 screws from the black headlight cover. There are two on each side of the cover.

Carefully move the black cover around to get access to the four Phillips screws that hold the headlight surround in place.

Remove the old headlight.

Install new headlight.

Pay attention to the routing of the wire loom going to the back of the headlight. If not correct, the wire can strain and break.

Click here for complete instructions on routing the Headlight wires.
See the picture below that shows the headlight wire routing.

The wire runs between the fender and the headlight assembly casting, lays on top of the casting, and then plugs into the back of the bulb.

Repeat on the other side of car if needed.

Check for proper alignment.  There are vertical and horizontal adjustment screws that can be used if alignment is not correct.
