Knock Sensor Removal

The knock sensor is located on the engine block below the rear cylinder head. It is on the passenger side, near the oil pressure switch.
  • Disconnect the wire connector from the sensor.
  • Use an appropriately sized wrench to screw it out.

You do not need to drain any coolant to install the knock sensor.
