jon L
Still having idling problems. When the A/C is on the engine idles quite fast, around 1300 to 1400 rpms. When the air is turned off the idle returns to normal around 750 to 800 rpms. What sensor controls the idle when the air is turned on and off? Anyone? 2seater
I know it is of no help but I think it is only supposed to pick up the load but not increase idle? I know mine doesn’t. I don’t remember anything in the chip programming specifically for a/c idle. I would think it should operate like the power steering load sensing by just stabilizing the target idle. It sounds like the IAC is working properly otherwise so my best guess there is something commanding high idle with a/c, maybe in a modified program? Is it all the time with a/c or only when compressor engages?
